Experience the stunning views from atop the Swiss Alps and, passing along, the beauty of Lake Como on this full-day Tour from Milan. Stop on Lake Como and later enjoy Valtellina valley with a stop for your lunch. Ride the Bernina Train, on the Express railway, up glaciers and into the Swiss Alps. Hop off to enjoy the summit views and then explore the well known mountain resort of S.Moritz. Later, we drive back to Milan by way of another beautiful Swiss valley!

Youth: age 12 – 15

Minimum age is 12 and maximum is 75. All travelers should have a good physical fitness level. It is a very long day trip just from the Central station of Milan involving also some uphill walk and stairs and on some parts of the driving are on a twisty mountain road! Not recommended for pregnant travelers, ones with back and/or deambulation problems or heart or other serious medical conditions.

Each passenger has to carry a valid passport. In the spring and autumn is advised to bring either a light sweater or jacket while in the winter sweater, jacket and good shoes.

JUST IN CASE OF SEVERE, UNSAFE WEATHER CONDITION OR IN THE EXCEPTIONAL CASE THAT THE BERNINA TRAIN IS EITHER NOT OPERATING OR ONLY PARTIALLY OPERATING WE RESERVE THE RIGHT EITHER TO CANCEL THE TOUR (WITH REFUND) OR IF WE OPERATE NOT TO REACH THE HIGHEST POINT DOING ONLY A PARTIAL RIDE OF THE BERNINA TRAIN.

We are glad to offer suggestions, but we are not involved in transporting you from your accommodation to our meeting points. You will be responsible if you miss the established tour departure time.

Absolutely amazing experience with an amazing tour guide! I'm sitting on the train on the way back from the most amazing day, I couldn't wait to write a review! Me and my partner did the scenic train ride, and we were lucky enough to be the only ones, so we had an amazing individualised trip. Luca couldn't have been more lovely, approachable, accommodating and knowledgeable. He ensured we had the best day, recommended the best restaurants, and knew all the local knowledge/history, such an interesting man. The scenic train ride was amazing, brilliant views. We also got to stop at a winery and Luca convinced them to show us the cellar, and we sampled some beautiful wine. Was the highlight of our trip, would do it all again tomorrow if we could! Spectacular scenery and local flavors! Our trip with Luca to Lake Como and aboard the Bernina Express was a highlight of our trip to Italy. Luca is warm, funny, knowledgeable and an excellent guide! He arranged for us to do a cheese tasting at a charming dairy in Chiuro, which was one of our favorite stops. When a winter storm closed the road our bus was supposed to take, Luca quickly adjusted plans to make sure we enjoyed plenty of time aboard the Bernina Express and in local towns. Lake Como is beautiful and the scenery aboard the Bernina Express is spectacular. The coach we were on had windows that opened to allow us to take amazing photos. We highly recommend Luca and his tours!

Wonderful Autumn and Winter visits on the Bernia Express This was my second time with Luca on the Bernia Express. I went once with my mother in October 2022 (with only the 2 of us) and a second time with a friend in December 2023 (with a total of 14 people). Both times were equally amazing. I was able to see both the beautiful autumn foliage and a winter wonderland. Luca is an informative and entertaining guide. The day is long, but it is wonderfully organized with stops along the way which included a wine & cheese stop on one of my trips and a stop a local store to shop for Italian foods on another trip. There is also time for quick lunch and a quick stroll around St Moritz. Luca does great with both small and large groups. I highly recommend this tour if you want to ride the Bernia Express without the hassle of planning everything yourself.

A must see breathtaking experience!! The trip was amazing! Right from the start, Luca will ensure that you do not get lost from the group. The short visit to lake como was nice and sweet. The trip isn’t that tiring and I think that anyone of any age can enjoy it. The bernina express train was majestic and fun! It was a bit sad that we were not able to see st.moritz but luca made sure to have alternative destinations instead. He also gives from time to time information about the places we pass through. I hope next time I’d be able to bring more of my friends and family to go again in this trip. Thank you!

Unforgettable Experience This tour exceeded our expectations and was one of the highlights of our stay at Milan. It was amazing experience for us - such beautiful views ! Luca, our guide, is so knowledgeable and shared so much information with us throughout the tour. He is so friendly and thoughtful. He even checked if we arrived safely at Milano Centrale at the end of the tour. He was responsive to all the correspondences we sent to him. We highly recommend this tour ! Thank you Luca !

Bernina scenic train ride The tour was well organized from the meeting place to our train ride to meet our excellent guide LUCA..He is very knowledgeable, friendly ,game and he does not rush us. taking picture does not do justice to the awesome scenery. and this is my second time !
